Summary

  • The IMF maps ~$300bn equity, $650bn debt and $1.4tn future orders. The financing channels match this register; exact deal overlap is unverified. Its “wrong-way risk” warning concerns simultaneous investment and customer-revenue impairment. IMF
  • At July 26, 2026, NVIDIA disclosed $36bn of capacity-support commitments, typically lasting six years; these purchase obligations differ from supplier equity and guarantees. NQ
  • NVIDIA’s August 17, 2026 PORTS guarantee has a $105bn initial cap. Broadcom separately disclosed a $29bn maximum backstop and up to $42bn of conditional convertible notes at August 2; these are not additive loss exposures. North Star remains reported, unverified. NGUAR BQ NSTAR
  • Amazon’s July 30, 2026 filing confirms completion of its $50bn OpenAI investment after June-end. Microsoft disclosed approximately 25% ownership at June-end versus approximately 27% at recapitalization. The 10-K attributes the ownership decrease to recapitalization and other funding activity, without a complete capitalization bridge. AMQ MOWN MAZ
  • Disclosed maximum supplier guarantees total about $193bn at the latest quarter-ends: NVIDIA $105bn (PORTS, effective from FY2029) plus $3.5bn, Alphabet $43.8bn of data-centre backstops plus $7.6bn, Broadcom $29bn, AMD $4.1bn. These are contingent caps payable on covered defaults, not loans or expected losses. NGUAR NQ GOOGQ BQ AQ
  • Suppliers reported about $190bn of equity-investment gains across mixed 2026 reporting periods (Alphabet $113.6bn H1, Amazon $62.8bn H1, NVIDIA $7.5bn H1, Microsoft $6.5bn FY2026); a lab down round could reverse gains at the same time as orders fall. These are mixed-period portfolio/accounting measures, not gains all attributable to named labs (claim 60). GOOGQ AMQ NQ MOWN
  • NVIDIA's CoreWeave capacity support can be terminated if CoreWeave enters insolvency, and Google's Fluidstack backstops take effect only at lease commencement: support is weakest in exactly the states where it would be needed, while effective investment-grade guarantees turn a covered lab default into a supplier loss rather than a project default. CBACK WULFQ
  • SpaceX's SI segment turned from a $1.257bn Q2 operating loss to $431m Q3 operating profit, but Q3 SI capex was $16.444bn. September related-party financing totaled $12.897bn versus June's $13.329bn Valor balance; the September exhibit does not name the creditor (claims 64–65). SPCX3 SPCX2
  • S&P's 19 October warning highlights undisclosed interconnections, without quantifying hidden debt or announcing a rating action. OpenAI's 21 October Google Cloud private preview can consume existing cloud commitments; this distribution channel is not new financing (claims 66–67). SPOPACITY GOAI
  • Meta’s September combined Louisiana/Texas ventures carry $68.404bn maximum exposure, including $41.493bn conditional residual-value guarantees. This is an exposure inventory, not funded principal; its broader perimeter supersedes the Hyperion-only view (claim 26). Meta also reported negative $2.120bn Q3 FCF and raised its 2026 capex floor (claim 71). METAQ METAEX
  • Bank access remained selective: Nebius disclosed a $3.5bn secured facility and TeraWulf added about $150m committed revolver capacity. Blackstone describes predominantly long-term, investment-grade datacenter exposure; its portfolio view and Huang’s capital-scarcity comments do not establish new funded demand (claims 73–76). Analysis

Scope and accounting. The CSV covers requested relationships; private side letters remain incomplete. Purchase contracts close financing loops but do not alone establish vendor financing. Intel and Groq are boundary cases: supplier integration and technology acquisition, respectively.

Microsoft disclosed $24.1bn of FY2026 revenue from OpenAI, including revenue sharing, and $6.0bn of receivables at June 30. These establish commercial exposure, not revenue causally attributable to Microsoft’s investment; a comprehensive cross-stack matrix remains unavailable. MOWN

Investor capital funds lab cloud spending and upstream servers; later subscriptions fund the lab. Adding these sales repeatedly counts intermediate transactions. This alone establishes neither fictitious accounting nor independent demand. Equity, guarantees and backlog are not current revenue. Cerebras’s H1 OpenAI-arrangement revenue of $74.4m is net of $3.3m of OpenAI-specific warrant amortization; its $86.3m of non-cash loan credits are a separate quantity, not cash receipts or an amount to add to revenue. The $46.3m warrant reduction in claim 24 covers all customers. CoreWeave likewise offsets associated revenue for the stock issued to OpenAI. These disclosures illustrate customer-incentive accounting without auditing gross-versus-net treatment across the stack. CBQ CS1

IMF map and register reconciliation. Figure 1.2 panel 2 anonymizes firms without a deal ledger; exact membership and a dollar bridge are unverified. Debt includes investor and investee financing beyond vendor links. IMF

The table below classifies every local link once by its main instrument. Overlap means matching economic channels, not verified membership of the IMF sample. Compound rows also contain other instruments; no amounts are summed. The named links are evidenced in claims 1–35, 57–60, 62 and the register; valuation rows are included only to track reflexive exposure.

What the IMF counts beyond this register. Funding-side corporate borrowing and third-party bank/bond/project debt are not comprehensively recorded as separate links here. The register identifies support and selected facilities, but often omits the borrowing that support enables. The debt-markets note maps some of those instruments separately; its balances cannot be added to the IMF total. Which named debts make up the IMF-only remainder cannot be established from anonymous nodes. Conversely, this register includes later announcements, conditional instruments and boundary cases whose IMF inclusion is unknown. The sample counts cannot establish relative completeness.

Our inference is correlated impairment across investments, orders and support. Contract terms still determine recovery; neither inventory identifies demand that would vanish without financing.

Attribution. Claims 38, 39 and 63 are accounting-scale illustrations using selected historical announcements and assumed spending paths. They are not estimates or bounds of financing-dependent demand: the NVIDIA and AMD cases omit debt and other equity enabled by supplier support, while the backlog cases do not reconcile original contract values to remaining obligations. The small equity-basket percentages cannot dismiss financing dependence. Revenue flows and RPO stocks are different measures; annualizing a quarter does not produce trailing annual revenue. Mechanical arithmetic is B; scenario assumptions keep the overall claims at C.

NVIDIA’s August 10 financing-platform MOUs target more than $500bn of third-party capital, rather than committed or deployed financing. Its July 26 equity values and commitments (claim 43) also exceed the selected basket’s scope; they are not cash-investment totals or sales numerators. The filed $31.0bn H1 net additions to private equity (claim 59) is a more current scale anchor than the selected $44bn basket; annualizing that flow is not a sales-attribution estimate. Together these disclosures make financing access a material issue beyond the equity scenario. NPLATFORM NQ

  • NVIDIA: the basket adds OpenAI/Anthropic announced equity and incremental CoreWeave/Nebius investments. Assume half to all returns as NVIDIA revenue, evenly over the scenario window, freezing quarterly revenue. Unidentified investments, leverage and guarantees are excluded; supported sales could be much larger. Investee purchases and a complete paid-in reconciliation are undisclosed. Claim 45 updates reported funding status. NPAID Capacity support is potentially overlapping exposure, not another sales numerator. NLOI ROUND NQ
  • AMD: assume none to all of the Anthropic equity commitment returns as hardware revenue over the same window. The resulting range excludes the potentially much larger purchase programmes incentivized by warrants: no customer-level revenue or warrant fair-value reconciliation permits a defensible percentage for those programmes. Unvested warrants do not prove the absence of supported orders. AQ AANT
  • Supplier support (claim 63; CF021 and CF005 only): Broadcom’s gross transaction/backlog ratio assumes the entire financed equipment transaction remains in Broadcom RPO. The narrower content range is an explicit sensitivity, not disclosed silicon economics. Google equipment pass-through, already delivered racks and software backlog change the answer. Do not substitute the guarantee cap or note facility for sales, or add North Star without reconciling overlap. BQ BXPV
  • Customer concentration (claim 39), Oracle: the $300bn scenario uses a rounded floor of the disclosed amount exceeding $300bn. The ratio assumes that amount is an OCI purchase commitment still included in current RPO. Company confirmation of partnership size does not provide that reconciliation. This measures customer concentration, not supplier-provided financing. OSTAR ORESULT
  • CoreWeave: the NVIDIA $6.3bn capacity order belongs only in the supplier-support sensitivity (claim 63). The OpenAI $22.4bn purchase-contract ratio belongs only in customer concentration (claim 39). Recognition to date, capacity resales and variable consideration prevent either historical contract value from being treated as verified remaining RPO. The former 27.7% combined ratio mixed the two concepts and is retired. CBACK OCORE CQ

Returns and loss allocation. Current supplier profits and cash generation demonstrate present operating strength; they do not establish solvency under a financing shock. CoreWeave’s consolidated losses demonstrate a current financing burden, not the lifetime return of every contracted project (claim 37). Vendors receive cash earlier; cloud equity/lenders absorb utilization, execution and refinancing risks. Guarantees return tail losses upstream when hardware demand and collateral values may also fall. The $193bn sum in claim 61 combines maximum caps across different dates and triggers; it is not a current simultaneous loss exposure. Alphabet’s $7.6bn energy-equipment guarantees are not tenant-rent guarantees, and its future $24.1bn agreement still needs provider terms finalized. Named Google backstops are nested inside the aggregate, with no project-by-project bridge verified. AMD leases are direct purchase obligations, distinct from its guarantees. GOOGQ AQ

Oracle reported negative $5bn Q1 FY2027 free cash flow despite operating profit, and completed a $20bn equity sale before commissions. Profitability therefore coexists with external funding needs. ORESULT

NVIDIA’s phased PORTS guarantee provides assumption/reletting/sale remedies after default or insolvency. Exposure grows as applicable phases enter service, declines with lease payments, and may terminate before twenty years, including when OpenAI achieves a satisfactory credit rating. The cap is maximum contingent exposure, not expected loss. OpenAI’s indemnity may be uncollectible during distress. Broadcom’s backstop also depends on collateral recovery. Broadcom’s formula leaves financing partners exposed to losses up to 15% of the outstanding covered lease balance before Broadcom bears the excess, subject to rack recoveries. NVIDIA may terminate CoreWeave’s MSA and orders after an insolvency proceeding persists for 90 days; that support is utilization protection while solvent, not an irrevocable default guarantee. Google’s Fluidstack backstops protect covered payment obligations only from lease commencement; construction/delivery risk remains beforehand. Lender protection does not remove system risk. NGUAR NQ BQ CBACK WULFQ

Reuters’ October 1 account identifies Anthropic as the note-facility borrower and reports $125.2bn of five-year TPU leases, restricted collateral and default-related acceleration that can coincide with restricted facility access (claim 44; C, reported, unverified). This adds liquidity risk: financing may be least accessible when urgently needed. It is separate evidence from North Star; the proposed junior-tranche yield is not a borrowing rate for all AI labs. R42 NSTAR

Supplier equity marks create another feedback channel. Claim 60’s approximately $190bn is a sum of disclosed portfolio gains and OpenAI dilution gains over mixed periods, not cash generated by lab customers or an entirely lab-attributable mark-up. Alphabet does not name its dominant private holding and NVIDIA does not isolate lab gains. A down round can reduce valuations while lab funding and purchases weaken, but it need not reverse all prior gains: preferred rights, measurement triggers and Microsoft’s equity-method/dilution accounting affect timing and amounts. GOOGQ AMQ NQ MOWN

Historical comparison. Lucent/Nortel financed customers as external capital constrained expansion. Nortel warned that retreating lenders could leave financing on its books longer. Modern SPVs and guarantees extend this mechanism. Cisco’s inventory charge measures overordering, not vendor loans. Historical commitments and modern caps are neither realized losses nor comparable without adjusting for company scale. LUC NORT CISCO

Single points of failure. OpenAI/Anthropic concentrate upstream compute purchases and fundraising; final demand comes from their end users. Microsoft anchors multiple neoclouds; NVIDIA supplies hardware, equity and contingent purchases; Broadcom/Google concentrate TPU financing. Energization delays can block customer payments and funding while construction costs continue. Refinancing and equipment values transmit common shocks: SPVs cannot diversify a simultaneous fall in compute rents. Microsoft’s nearly 90% cloud-revenue share outside frontier-model companies and 25% RPO growth excluding OpenAI (claim 48) counter a two-lab explanation of the whole cloud business; neither isolates AI-only demand. The Claude cross-check maps obligor groups in the forecast register, drawing on the debt-markets note and neocloud note. This is an abridged dependency map, not a claim that each group fails whenever its root fails. Reported identities and proposed facilities remain C; absent guarantees are not proof that no recourse exists.

One OpenAI failure can reach Oracle and several Oracle-tenanted project vehicles; one CoreWeave failure can reach Core Scientific and Applied Digital. Two register obligor events can therefore share a single root. Anthropic likewise links AI XPV, proposed North Star, conditional Nscale offtake and TeraWulf's direct lease. Guarantees can break a project-default path while transferring losses to the guarantor; NVIDIA's CoreWeave termination right can reopen it. “Two distinct obligor groups” does not establish two independent failures. The register's probabilities must be interpreted with those common roots in view; this note does not change its event-counting rules. CBACK NGUAR BQ WULFQ HUTQ

Conflicts and open questions

25 October: exposure perimeter, valuation vintages and selective access. Claim 26’s older announcement-only statement that the residual guarantee cap is unspecified is superseded by the 22 October 10-Q’s combined Louisiana/Texas disclosure: $41.493bn RVG within $68.404bn maximum exposure. That combined perimeter cannot establish same-scope growth from June’s Hyperion-only $46.03bn; rent and contingent guarantees are not extra principal. OpenAI’s latest $1.25tn pre-money proposal differs from the earlier >$1.4tn talk in claim 68, but neither is a closed round and the proposals lack a complete basis bridge. New Nebius/TeraWulf bank capacity also qualifies any blanket inference that financing has closed across the stack. Blackstone’s portfolio-quality description is counterevidence to uniform credit weakness, while long leases and investment-grade tenants do not eliminate execution, refinancing or residual-value risks. METAQ OAIOCT OAIRAISE NEBCITIK WULFOCT BXCALL

21 October: customer profitability and exposure direction. The customer-loss examples in claim 37 need the new SpaceX counterexample: SI earned $431m operating profit in Q3 after a $1.257bn Q2 loss. That improvement qualifies a continuing-loss interpretation, while $16.444bn quarterly SI capex and the group's nine-month cash/capex gap preserve financing risk. The comparable related-party financing aggregate also declined $432m from June to September; it does not show uninterrupted balance expansion or a new loan. The September creditor is unnamed, so the earlier Valor identification cannot silently become direct confirmation of the whole new balance. SPCX3 SPCX2

21 October: inventory completeness and distribution. S&P's warning reinforces the note's existing incomplete-inventory caveat, but does not justify marking up claim 61's disclosed guarantee caps or the IMF totals by an invented hidden-debt amount. NVIDIA/IMF figures in claims 42–43, 51–55, 59 and 61 remain older disclosures, not new October financing. Google Cloud commitment drawdown expands OpenAI's route to customers without establishing fresh capital or incremental final demand; claim 67 must not be added to financing proceeds. SPOPACITY GOAI

Different assessments of financing dependence. The original Summary said supplier support was “increasingly” prevalent; the reviewer finds dated examples but no comparable aggregate time series establishing that trend. The original note emphasized the narrow equity-basket scenarios and excluded guarantees, leverage and unidentified investments. The independent Codex cross-check places more weight on financing-enabled expansion and conditional liquidity: neither the small scenario percentages nor the exclusions quantify demand that would disappear without support. Both views retain uncertainty about causal dependence; identifying it requires investee purchases, funding flows, overlap reconciliation and a counterfactual.

Profitability and breadth of demand. The original note judged supplier profitability to contradict a stack-wide insolvency thesis and described CoreWeave’s losses as demonstrating a customer-return problem. The reviewer’s narrower view is that present profits do not establish solvency under a financing shock, while corporate losses do not establish lifetime project returns. Oracle’s funding needs reinforce this distinction (claims 37, 47). The original note called profitable suppliers and growing usage the strongest counterevidence; the reviewer also emphasizes available commercial links, cloud breadth and guarantee remedies. Microsoft reported nearly 90% of FY2026 Microsoft Cloud revenue from customers outside frontier-model companies, while RPO excluding OpenAI grew 25%. These are meaningful counterevidence to a two-lab account of the whole cloud business, but neither isolates AI-only final demand. ORESULT MCALL

Ownership and funding status. The earlier Codex cross-check found a lower Microsoft ownership percentage but no complete capitalization bridge establishing cause or exact dilution. Claude disagrees on the cause: the directly fetched 10-K attributes the decrease to recapitalization and other funding activity. That primary statement is applied; a complete numerical bridge remains unavailable. Codex also left NVIDIA’s $100bn LOI versus $30bn announcement unreconciled from primary announcements alone; Claude treats the LOI as superseded on February Reuters/FT reporting (C). CF001 now records that reported supersession, without upgrading it to filed confirmation. LOIREP Microsoft’s headline funding commitment also exceeds cash funded. Amazon’s June-end OpenAI figure excludes a disclosed subsequent completion; its Anthropic remaining facility ceiling is released against compute milestones, with subsequent equity participation reducing the ceiling. NVIDIA funding completion remains unverified (claim 45). MOWN MAZ AMQ NPAID

Broadcom transaction linkage and source disagreement. The original claim 14 placed the AI XPV transaction and filed backstop together under a single A grade. The earlier Codex cross-check verified the separate disclosures at A but graded their one-to-one linkage C. Claude disagrees after reading MD&A: Broadcom’s MD&A ties the backstop to the June $35bn tranche (A); only the lessee’s identity, Anthropic, remains reported (C). The direct filing fetch for this update confirms the MD&A linkage, which is now applied; the earlier assessment is retained here as review history. The public note facility is A-grade but unnamed; Reuters’ October 1 report identifies Anthropic and adds lease/collateral/default restrictions at C (claim 44), rather than confirming the identity through the fetched primary filing. North Star’s reported senior guarantee lacks a fetched executed contract and must not be added without reconciling overlap. Its reported coupon and yield describe a proposed junior tranche. BXPV BQ R42 NSTAR

Accounting and demand interpretation. The original note’s ordinary supply-chain accounting explanation remains a conceptual caution; the reviewer says it cannot serve as a blanket audit of gross-versus-net treatment. Customer incentives reduce recognized revenue in the disclosed examples (claims 25, 49), with no stack-wide accounting audit established. The original phrase “concentrate final demand” treated labs as end users; the reviewer identifies them as intermediaries concentrating upstream purchases and financing. The graph now distinguishes those roles. Groq’s reported headline differs from filed consideration; no customer-financing loop was established. CBQ CS1 NK

Scope, grades and attribution disagreements. Codex retained the $44bn NVIDIA scenario as a caveated illustration; Claude says the filed $31.0bn H1 private-equity additions are a better scale anchor and recommends removing the scenario from the Summary. The scenario remains in claim 38 for auditability, while the flow anchors Analysis. Claude classifies the Oracle/OpenAI and CoreWeave/OpenAI ratios as customer concentration rather than supplier financing; claim 39 applies that distinction, and claim 63 restricts supplier-support contract ratios to CF005 and CF021. Codex warned that capacity-support overlap was unreconciled; Claude notes the $36bn model began in Q2 FY2027, after the September 2025 CoreWeave order, so overlap is doubtful, not resolved. No total adds them. NQ

Claude recommends A for the Hut 8 filed terms and Apollo announcement, unlike the earlier C-only xAI financing lead in CF007. Those primary disclosures were corroborated, and CF007 is superseded by the more specific CF068 without asserting an exact instrument-for-instrument replacement. The four newly requested reported register rows (CF065–CF068) are conservatively retained at C; their source types and directly supported components are explicit. The unnamed Alphabet commitment is A as filed and B only for identification as Anthropic; neither the filing nor this inference verifies the entire April $40bn headline or a $10bn funding bridge. The roughly $190bn sum is B for arithmetic, not primary confirmation that every gain is a lab-stake mark-up. GOOGQ HUTQ APOLLOX

Unresolved: IMF firm identities, transaction dates, paid-versus-committed treatment and deal-level bridge to the register; investee-level NVIDIA sales; guarantee collateral/fees and realized losses; remaining lab contracts; a complete paid-equity reconciliation; programme overlap. Some SEC access remains indexed-only, but Microsoft’s full filing was retrieved directly over HTTP for this update. No comprehensive related-party revenue matrix was verified, despite the measured Microsoft–OpenAI link in claim 41; economic links do not automatically meet accounting definitions. The earlier Codex cross-check omitted a Broadcom/OpenAI amount because it could not fetch the full report; Claude located a fetched October 7 WSJ summary reporting more than $50bn sought. Claim 62 and CF065 now include that amount at C, without asserting an executed agreement. BOPENFIN

The 25 October update directly re-fetched Meta’s September 10-Q, earnings exhibit, Class C 8-K and PRE 14C; Tesla’s September 10-Q; Nebius’s Citi 6-K/release; TeraWulf’s 23 October 8-K; CoreWeave’s cure amendment; CNBC’s OpenAI/Huang bodies; Blackstone’s hosted call transcript; Microsoft/Alphabet/Amazon calendars; Fed calendar; and Jupiter’s motions notice. SEC requests used generic User-Agent research-bot contact@example.com. Blackstone’s official results PDF was fetched through the web tool. Meta’s IR release returned 403, so its SEC earnings exhibit confirms the financial disclosures instead. CNBC web-tool fetches were restricted, but full bodies were retrieved directly over HTTP. Older commitments, SpaceX results and committee reporting retain their original dates; no forecast was edited.

The 21 October update re-fetched the SpaceX Q3 SEC earnings exhibit and June 10-Q, Google Cloud announcement, Reuters syndications for S&P and OpenAI, and Microsoft/Amazon calendars. Alphabet’s issuer announcement was fetched through MarketScreener/PublicNow after the direct PublicNow URL returned 403. OpenAI’s own Google announcement returned 403; the Google primary post directly confirms the preview and commitment drawdown. SEC requests used generic User-Agent research-bot contact@example.com. Older NVIDIA/IMF balances were not treated as new observations.

Existing sources accessed 2026-10-17; IMF and register checked 2026-10-18. The 18 October update directly fetched NVIDIA’s August 17 8-K and July 26 10-Q, CoreWeave’s September 2025 8-K, AMD, Broadcom, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft and TeraWulf filings, and Hut 8’s June 10-Q on 2026-10-18, using generic SEC User-Agent research-bot contact@example.com. New figures in claims 57–60 were checked against the filings, not copied solely from the review. Publication/filing dates below; prior indexed-only access is retained as history where stated.
